Is India a Poor Country ??

Snapchat Founder Evan Spiegel has said that he doesn't want to come to India as he thinks that his app is made to exclusively serve Rich nations. I would like to show you some facts :- 1) India is the 3rd largest Economy in the world in terms of PPP(Purchasing Power Parity) 2) India is the second largest startup market in the world. 3) The 1961 census of India listed 1,652 languages and even now we speak more than 1000 languages. 4) India has three of the world's top ten megacities - one more than China. 5) India has the world's largest film industry. More than 1,100 movies are produced, on average, each year - that's slightly ahead of Nigeria, twice as many as the American film industry and ten times as many as Britain produces. 6) Bombay Stock Exchange or Sensex is considered to be among the largest stock exchanges in the world and surely one of the oldest. 7) India is among the few countries in the world whose young population would keep driving its economy to new heights even in the times to come. Unlike other economies including China, India has vast population of people under 25 and it sets up as a boon for the country 8) India is the only country apart from China and US to possess more number of billionaires than any other country. We have 55 billionaires at present and still increasing. 9) India is the world leader in terms of providing outsourced IT services. 10)India has the seventh largest foreign currency reserves in the world. So, Mr Evan Spiegel do read about a country before commenting anything about it. You should know what we are capable of, we have downgraded your apps star ratings on every platform in the world. If can't respect us, then forget about entering our country, we are the future leaders and we will make you bow to us One day. Jai Hind !

Make in india or make for India ?

After "Jai Jawan jai Kisaan" by Lal Bahadur Shashtri ,We have "Make in India" a new intitiative taken by another prime minister for the growth of India. Lets' look at some of the positive facts regarding make in INDIA -: 1- We will have the most number of human labour, almost 63 million by 2022 with an average age of 29 years. 2- Strong mandate in Lok Sabha which can help in clearing some important bills. 3- strong personality like Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister who can take strong decisions. I don't want to discuss about the 2 and 3 point but i do have a problem with the 1 point. I do agree with the fact that we have a huge amount of human capital but my concern is about the quality. When India got Independent we had less than 100 colleges in India, So the main task of PM J.L. Nehru was to increase the number of colleges. We have achieved that target by increasing the number of colleges to more than 3000 but i can't say the same about quality....

Cries of Go Back India in Kashmir !

I can't understand the thinking of a young Kashmiri. Do these guys actually know what they are saying, cry of 'Hame chahiye Aazadi' 'jiwe jiwe Pakistan' etc. What perplexes me the most is, young generation of around 14-30 age is shouting these slogans. Have we failed in making Kashmir an Integral part of India ? Has Article 370 failed ? OR Is Article 370 the main reason behind isolation of Kashmir. Article 370 was added in the constitution to give more autonomy to Jammu&Kashmir compared to other states. Only Defence, Foreign Affairs and Communication is under the Indian Government. The Paradox in Kashmir is that the people who are considered as leader of Kashmiri movement, The Hurriyat Conference, their leaders themselves don't follow the stupid things that they preach to other people. They burned hundreds of school in Jammu & Kashmir last year but they themselves are teaching their kids in Premium schools of India. Take the case of Syed Ali Shah Ge...
